Chengdu - University Summer Program
Need: 15 EFL Teachers (Certification is not required)
After the 2008 Earthquake in this area and modifications to the school, Sichuan University is making plans to again host the
SUMMER ENGLISH PROGRAM .
This is our longest running partnership program in China. It was started for University students but over time, it has evolved
into an program mostly Middle and High School students.
Many of the students come and live on campus during the program.
Class size may be up to 40 students.
Normal day is classes in the morning and activities and games in the afternoon.
The curriculum is based on conversational English and the Oxford Picture Dictionary. Students will participate in a Christmas Program and wedding. This program requires many hours with students in and out of class to build relationships and understanding. Chengdu is the capital city of the Sichuan province with 10+ million people. While teaching experience is helpful, it is not mandatory - Teacher Training and materials are provided. The university provides room and food for the teachers.

Mengzi University Program
July 16-August 10.

PLANNING AND TICKETS ARE USUALLY MADE IN JANUARY!
This is our 2nd longest running program and is in the the city of Mengzi in the Yunnan Province. This is a rural area (about 4 hours from Kunming) with limited western influences but modernizing quickly Your students will be mostly Chinese English Teachers who want to learn more about American culture and teaching techniques. This program and University has gained major recognition in China for the quality of instruction we provide.
A college degree and teaching or EFL experience is required. Mengzi
Kunming Summer English Program
Winter, Summer and Long Term Opportunities
There are various programs in the city of Kunming, Yunnan Province, China.
You will lead conversational classes at a private school in the “Spring City”, Kunming.
The curriculum will be highly interactive, flexible, and fun. The small class sizes of 10-20 students will allow individualized one on one teacher-student relationships.
Student will range in age from 10 to adult and vary in ability from beginner to advanced level.
Astana, Kazakhstan
Workers in the Astana program will assist a small private company train students and business leaders in the city.
Survey Teams
These teams usually travel to the program host cities two weeks prior to the
arrival of any teaching teams. Other teams may travel at any time to
explore and investigate new opportunities for additional programs.
Team size should be limited to 4-6 people.
Hotel, food, and ground transportation are usually extra expenses.

We have sent lawyers and doctors to host special workshops.
There was one group that went and taught people how to cook western food.
Maybe you have a gift of music, drama or art and would like to visit and share this.
